VEX ROBOTICS

Volunteering is a key part of what we do at AURA. Many of our members have gone through the VEX Robotics programme themselves and seen past AURA members volunteer at both local and national competitions. As such, they have chosen to give back to the robotics community by volunteering their time just as their seniors did when they were competing in the programme. Hence allowing the next generation of school kids to compete in the VEX Robotics Competition along with many other robotics competitions and events.

VEX ROBOTICS COMPETITION

The VEX Robotics Competition is the primary competition AURA has been competing in since the club began in 2011. It is an American educational robotics competition run by VEX. There are 3 main levels of competition - VEX EDR (for primary school aged kids), VRC (for high-school aged kids) and VEX U (for university aged kids). AURA, being a university club, competes in the VEX U division and we've held multiple World Titles in the past!
