AURA won three out of four World Champion titles at the Vex U World Champs – the Programming Skills Challenge, the Robot Skills Challenge, and the Excellence Award. This is the best possible result without winning the finals, and the most World Champion titles in one year by any team (tied with OYES last year).

In the tournament we went undefeated until the finals, where we were eliminated by QCC2. Our opponents were very deserving, and they pulled off a seven section, seven cube autonomous routine in three consecutive matches – one of the most impressive feats ever by a Vex team.

AURA would like to congratulate QCC2 on their win. We would also like to congratulate BNS and ETAS on making it to the semifinals. All three teams were full of wonderful people who made Worlds a great experience.
