It was announced yesterday that we had won the Autodesk Inventor Digital Prototyping Challenge! Essentially it’s CAD competition to design a robot using VEX parts – you can see our entry at http://forum.robotevents.com/design/entry/detail/2821. Thanks very much to Nick Mabey, who did 99% of the work for the entry and is our humanoid genius! Our website was also a finalist in the website challenge, although we didn’t place in the top 3. We’re really excited to be heading to Worlds, and even more excited with the knowledge that we’ve continued the trend of NZ winning the CAD challenge for three years in a row!
