As you can probably see from our photos, we’ve started building. In fact, we finished our first prototype in the space of a week, and have a fully functional robot that has already seen some public action at the New Zealand Rotary Science Forum. We are very grateful for the support of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Auckland, which has now agreed to purchase the second set of parts. This means we’ll have parts for two robots, which means we are in the running to compete at the World Championships in Orlando, Florida in April!
