We’ve had a pretty hectic week! In amongst all of the end of mid-semester tests that everyone seems to have for every paper they do, we’ve had to get ready for the World Champs too! This included borrowing a field from Kristin, doing a demonstration to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, doing a public demonstration as well, doing interviews for faculty media, public radio, and local newspapers, and last but not least, finishing off the robots so that they work! The team has been putting in a lot of time and effort to speed our way through the final construction and programming phases, and we’re looking set to be competing in our first match on Thursday 14th April (Friday 15th in New Zealand)! Check back here for daily updates about how we’re going!
(If you’re looking for the photos of our robot/s, head over the media page!)
Edit: WE were on the radio last night! If you missed the Public Address show on RadioLIVE, click here to listen to the 10-minute interview with our team members! (http://publicaddress.net/system/topic/2979/)
